YOUMARES | award 2015

At this year’s YOUMARES Young Marine Scientists Conference, the YOUMARES Award was presented to Sophia Kochalski. She had submitted a paper on Fish-O-Mat, winning a course at the HYDRA Institute for Marine Sciences, sponsored by AQUEIS e.V. The work is an online question and answer tool that draws consumers’ attention to various sustainable fishing standards, in line with their sustainability definitions and values.
